Job Focus

Literally Media is seeking an Ad Operations Manager to join the Revenue Operations team and to work closely with Engineering and Product groups. This position will help to maximize revenue opportunities and provide account management for Literally Media inventory across all its sites. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily revenue management and execution of AdOps tasks, as well as managing ongoing programmatic partnerships for Literally Media. The position consists of daily contact with demand partners, in parallel to managing the technical aspect of the ad serving and media optimization. The candidate is expected to continuously grow revenue based on the company’s KPI’s and targets, and to provide monetization insights, real-time information, and results to the company management team. 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ad stack optimization across all programmatic products – display, video, and native – to hit the company’s quarterly aggressive revenue targets. 
  • Create and update revenue dashboards focused on delivering actionable insights with clear and concise findings.
  • Monitor and maintain ad quality across our portfolio of sites. 
  • Maintain Ads.txt files and additional compliance and transparency initiatives.
  • Work closely with product and engineering on testing and implementing advertising products, as well as troubleshooting and QAing together with the demand partners. 
  • Actively participate in vetting new programmatic business/partnership opportunities. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for advertiser/demand relationships.
  • Assist Sales team with research discovery and data pulls, used to strengthen company sales efforts. 
  • Stay up to date on all industry news including updates to Prebid.org, regulatory updates (GDPR, CCPA..etc), Identity solutions, policy changes (ads and content), and key browser changes. 

 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in AdOps roles or similar (Data Analytics, Account Management, Programmatic Business Development).  
  • Mandatory – English language proficiency at a very high level.
  • Mandatory – Advanced Excel knowledge (or BI tools) and Analytical skills.
  • Profound service orientation, sales abilities, and initiative.  
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners. 
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager (DFP) or other Ad Servers. 
  • Understanding of programmatic ecosystems and platforms such as Google, AppNexus, Rubicon, Index Exchange, etc. 
  • Strong knowledge of web debugging with tools such as Charles and Chrome Developer Tools.
  • Ability to address problems with a data-driven approach, resourcefulness, and attention to details. 
  • A go-getter attitude with the ability to both work independently and collaborate as appropriate.
  • Advantage – Experience working with Product and Engineering teams. 
  • Advantage – Experience working with Sales teams.

Job Focus & Responsibilities

We are seeking an analytical, result-driven Email Marketing Manager who will be responsible for implementing and growing our email marketing efforts across all Literally Media properties.

The Email Marketing Manager will be joining the Literally Media team as the lead for all email marketing activities. This is a key role where you will be responsible for all aspects of the email marketing funnel; audience development, list-building, segmentation, campaigns, sending, reporting, and email-specific revenue initiatives.

A successful candidate should feel confident with the implementation, measurement, and optimization of all email marketing related technologies, strategies, and campaigns. The candidate will report directly to our Head of Revenue Operations, in Brooklyn, NY.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Audience development: responsible for email list growth across Literally Media’s portfolio of sites.
  • Implementation of email marketing programs and related strategies across all sites. 
  • Continuous testing and optimization of all facets of the email programs; audience segmentation, personalization, split testing, template & creative design, subscriber widgets.
  • Collaboration with editorial teams for ideation of newsletter programs, content, and creatives.
  • Daily measurement and reporting of all activities. Oversee and manage the reporting for related business units on defined KPIs and targets, maintain a weekly tracking dashboard.
  • Identify and execute email-specific ad revenue models.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of email marketing experience
  • Demonstrable experience executing and optimizing email marketing campaigns
  • Experience in media and publishing is a MUST.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience working with product teams.
  • Experience leveraging data to drive strategic direction and optimize programs.
  • Expertise in ESP/CRM platforms and all email best practices.
  • Fundamental understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Basic Photoshop skills are a plus.
  • A passionate leader, self-driven, and resourceful individual.

● Strategy and go to market across various emerging social channels

● Building, mentoring and training a dedicated social team

● Identifying channels, or individual social influencers, for purposes of collaboration and/or acquisition

● Support selected revenue initiatives to be executed through social channels

● Define KPIs for channel and community growth, monitor, report on performance, and adjust strategies to achieve objectives

Qualifications:

● Snapchat experience – a must!

● Prior experience as a publisher or influencer – a strong advantage

● Minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing and growing social channels/communities

● Exceptional grasp of social media and GenZ / millennial culture

● Strong leadership and entrepreneurship skills

● Experience working in a collaborative, cross-company culture

● Hands-on experience leading channels with at least 2 of the selected social platforms – Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok

Job Description:

Literally Media is searching for an experienced, full-time, Ruby on Rails web developer to join the KnowYourMeme team. Responsibilities include the full-stack ownership and development of the KnowYourMeme application, platform, and infrastructure. Ideal candidates include self-starters with a passion for the internet and technology, with an emphasis on supporting the growth of the site, brand, and community. 

 

This mid-senior level position comes with a lot of responsibility. You will be architecting and implementing site features in their entirety which will then be served to tens of millions of users per month. You will report to our Head of Product & Technology and work closely with various teams throughout the organization.

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

  • At least 5 years of proven experience working as a software developer

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Commonly used Gems, MVC, and interfacing with front end technologies such as HTML, HAML, CSS, and Javascript

Job Focus & Responsibilities

We are seeking an organized, meticulous, result-driven Quality Assurance Project Manager (QAPM) to join the Literally Media Team. As a QAPM, you will be responsible for the creation, execution, and implementation of a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as providing solutions to identified quality problems. 

This position will work closely with the Product and Engineering teams within Literally Media, and will require the individual to take on project management responsibilities in addition to their QA duties.

A successful candidate should feel confident with various web technologies, understand the basics of digital media and publishing, and have a data-driven mindset. The candidate will report directly to our Head of Product and Technology, in Brooklyn, NY.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure quality & timely project execution
  • Manual & Regression Testing: Create and document test cases for all projects & tasks identifying and documenting deficiencies
  • Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
  • Move towards an automated testing solution
  • Continuously investigate product quality in order to make improvements; Suggest solutions to identified product problems
  • Identify QA process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement 
  • Identify key KPIs for product quality and collect relevant data
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies
  • Knowledge of product life cycle, tools, and programs planning
  • Practical experience with software QA tools and processes
